Reflections on working with a Peer Researcher in telepractice co-design
Biography
Cloe and Mai are both clinically trained physiotherapists who are collaborating in their roles as PhD Candidate and Innovation Manager respectively to conduct a co-designed telepractice project for Rocky Bay. They both bring a wealth of experience in supervising clinicians, conducting quality improvement initiatives and presenting at conferences.

Biography
Cloe Benz is a Senior Physiotherapist in paediatric respiratory care, and completing an industry imbedded PhD based in Disability evaluating Telepractice design and implementation. Cloe piloted a Telehealth model in 2017 at Sydney Children’s Hospitals, has built up extensive clinical and research knowledge, won awards and presented nationally and internationally.

Biography
Renata is a strategist and advocate for digital transformation. She brings over fourteen years’ experience leading digital transformation and business improvement across complex programs within the higher education management and health care industries.
Renata is driven to create change that facilitates positive user experiences for both workforce and consumers. By focusing on the positive experiences of the end user, Renata ensures her projects are both impactful and sustainable.
In 2016, Renata successfully coordinated regional teams to deliver the Federal Government’s My Health Record opt-out trial in north Queensland. In 2021, she oversaw the development ‘Healthy Minds Healthy Lives’, a five-year mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drugs plan for Darling Downs and West Moreton region.
Renata is passionate about social change and equitable access to health care enabled through technological advancements.

I am a health services researcher and nurse with expertise in the field of health care decision-making and nursing informatics. My research interests include the development and evaluation of decision support tools, and the application of Health Information Technology for assisting decision making in practice. Prior to my appointment at Manchester, I was Professor of Nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. I am currently co-Chair of the eHealth forum at the Royal College of Nursing, and am a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics (UK) and an elected fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
