Biography

Nicole (Nicky) Payne has broad experience as a Registered Nurse working across different areas and levels in public hospitals, as well as working in the private sector.  Having worked in neurosurgery, vascular and burns specialties, Nicky moved to outpatients working in Burns and Complex Wound clinics before progressing to Nurse Manager and Nursing Director roles.  In these roles, her interest and specialisation in service improvement, patient flow and access to services grew, as did her interest in the use of digital and analytic systems to support this work. Her current role ticks all of her boxes, as she works with hospitals across Australia to implement and adopt an analytics platform that supports patient flow, access to care and service improvement.

Jessica specialises in digital transformation projects, working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure hospitals deploy and integrate the right solutions across planned and unplanned care, to deliver an improved operational experience for staff, and safer, more effective care for patients.
