Nathan is the WSLHD Chief Nursing Information Officer and is responsible for supporting the adoption and improvement of clinical information systems and technologies for nurses, midwives, and other multidisciplinary care providers. He is completing a PhD exploring the design and deployment considerations for the use of VR in clinical education.

Dr Shauna Overgaard mobilises and empowers multidisciplinary teams in the design, development, and translation of scalable AI solutions. Her work is focused on enterprise alignment toward AI evaluation and translation at Mayo Clinic. She champions disruptive and sustainable technologies that prioritise patient needs and empower patients to own their data.

Qualified Health Information Manager with many years experience as a department Manager in both public and private hospitals before joining 3M 20 years ago where I have supported the Coding, Casemix and Clinical Documentation products.

Associate Professor Sandeep Reddy is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare researcher based at the Deakin School of Medicine besides being the founder/chairman of Medi-AI, a globally focused AI company. He also functions as a certified health informatician and is a World Health Organisation recognised digital health expert. Further, he is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health and a certified health executive with the Australasian College of Health Service Management. He has a medical and healthcare management background and has completed machine learning/ health informatics training from various sources. He is currently engaged in research about the safety, quality and explainability of the application of AI in healthcare delivery in addition to developing AI models to treat and manage chronic diseases. Also, he has authored several articles and books about the use of AI in Medicine. Further, he has set up local and international forums to promote the use of AI in Healthcare in addition to sitting on various international committees focusing on AI in Healthcare.

Dr Stephanie Chaousis, uses her research expertise to lead partnerships and research governance at clinical data company, Datarwe. She is passionate about the translation of big data and AI-enabled research into real-word solutions that will help Australia maintain and enhance its world-class healthcare system. At Datarwe, she is working to help develop the world’s most comprehensive acute care real world data platform, enabling partners to create next-generation Artificial Intelligence (AI) clinical diagnostic tools and technologies. She also heads up the federally funded national AI for healthcare training program delivered by not-for-profit company IntelliHQ.

Dr Simon Kos is an internationally recognised leader in digital health, working in senior executive roles for over twenty years. Simon is the Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft ANZ.
