Louise Hayes is an experienced health information manager and health informatician working in the digital health space of Queensland Health, implementing electronic medical record solutions into frontline healthcare settings and finding innovative ways to use clinical data and information to support better care for patients and consumers. As the Executive Director Digital Health and Knowledge for Townsville Hospital and Health Service, Louise leads the strategic digital health agenda for a unique health service that supports tertiary health services to the whole of Northern Queensland, and has a number of rural and remote health care settings each with different health care needs and challenges.

Experienced healthcare manager and nursing leader with an extensive history working across numerous clinical areas within large public hospitals. I have a strong passion for digital innovation and initiatives which supports clinical teams to improve access and flow for patients.

With a background in pharmacy, Chiara has over 13 years’ experience in corporate health care, with expertise in project implementation, relationship and commercial management. Chiara has led many projects across the industry including within primary care, government, hospitals, and private health insurance. She now has a keen interest in digital health, leveraging data and technology to improve outcomes.

Jon was an academic researcher of nearly 40 years standing with over 100 publications and Australia’s 2005 national Eureka Science prize. In 2012 he left the University of Sydney to commercialise his Clinical NLP ideas. He is CEO for two medical software companies, operating in Australia and the USA.

Frank is a medical oncologist and an medical informatician. He is a research fellow at the Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics at the Garvan Institute, NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre at University of Sydney, and the SPHERE Cancer Clinical Academic Group at UNSW. His research interests are in genomics and digital health in cancer care. His work focuses on precision oncology, decision support, real-world data, and applications of AI in oncology. He is a key member involved in the national molecular tumour board at the Australian Genomic Cancer Medicine Program. He is investigator of several early phase clinical trials and grants.
