Biography

Louise Hayes is an experienced health information manager and health informatician working in the digital health space of Queensland Health, implementing electronic medical record solutions into frontline healthcare settings and finding innovative ways to use clinical data and information to support better care for patients and consumers. As the Executive Director Digital Health and Knowledge for Townsville Hospital and Health Service, Louise leads the strategic digital health agenda for a unique health service that supports tertiary health services to the whole of Northern Queensland, and has a number of rural and remote health care settings each with different health care needs and challenges.

Precision oncology decision-support system for supporting treatment and trial recommendations by the molecular tumour board

Biography

Frank is a medical oncologist and an medical informatician. He is a research fellow at the Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics at the Garvan Institute, NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre at University of Sydney, and the SPHERE Cancer Clinical Academic Group at UNSW. His research interests are in genomics and digital health in cancer care. His work focuses on precision oncology, decision support, real-world data, and applications of AI in oncology. He is a key member involved in the national molecular tumour board at the Australian Genomic Cancer Medicine Program. He is investigator of several early phase clinical trials and grants.
