Mark has over four decades experience in the health sector, with significant experience in digital health transformation, strategy, change, training and risk management across eleven countries. Mark is a Senior Lecturer in Health Care Management, Flinders University, completing his PhD research titled: Digital Health Competencies for Health Service Managers.

Dr Helen Monkman's mission is to improve consumer health information systems by making them easier for people to use and the information easier to understand. Her research interests include human factors, user experience, usability, and eHealth literacy, and how these factors impact the use and understandability of health information systems.

Dr Patrick Pang is currently a Lecturer in the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Macao Polytechnic University. His research areas include text mining, natural language processing (NLP), digital health, and policy informatics. He is also interested in inter-disciplinary applied research in AI and society.

Michaela Neff works as a research associate for the Institute of Medical Informatics at Goethe University Frankfurt which focuses on the user-centred design, development and evaluation of medical applications. The primary area of her work concerns rare and undiagnosed diseases.

Saleh Altuwayrib is a PhD candidate at the University of Wollongong. He has received a master’s degree in health informatics from the University of Wollongong. Saleh has experience in different e-health departments at Saudi hospitals and teaching experience in Health Informatics.

Jialin Liu MD, is a professor and director of the Department of Medical Informatics at West China Medical School of Sichuan University and a professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of West China Hospital Sichuan University. Jialin Liu serves as an associate editor of the Journal of Medical System.

Nhan Do is a research assistant professor of medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and the Director of the VA Boston Bioinformatics Group. He has served in multiple informatics leadership positions in the Military Health System to manage and support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of health information technology. His current research effort at the VA is primarily the development of infrastructure to support data science research for precision oncology within a Learning Health Systems framework. This includes data repository, knowledge repository, and software applications to deliver actionable knowledge through data visualization for situational awareness and clinical decision support.

Christie L Martin, PHD, MPH, RN-BC, LHIT-HP, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and a board-certified medical-surgical nurse at Allina Health in Minneapolis. Her research agenda aims to promote healthy behaviours and prevent chronic diseases through the co-design, implementation, and evaluation of accessible, culturally sensitive digital solutions that empower underserved and underrepresented individuals, families, and communities. Dr Martin is the Secretary of the American Medical Informatics Association Consumer Health Informatics Working Group.

Julie is a research assistant at the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research at Macquarie University. She has a background in qualitative research and is currently involved in multiple projects looking at the role of digital health in supporting safe and effective test result communication, management and follow-up.
