Biography
Professor Kerryn Butler-Henderson is the Director of the RMIT University Digital Health Hub. She has several large-funded research projects evaluating digital health interventions in various health settings and digital health workforce research and leadership. Kerryn was recognized for her expertise with several national and international awards.

Her research interests include digital therapeutics for health literacy, healthcare operations and analytics for decision support.

Dr Peyton is a paediatrician, PhD student, and researcher. He has a special interest in digital health, child mental health, parenting, and user experience research and design. For his PhD, he co-designed and developed a new website (FindWays) to help parents find ways of managing their child’s mental health problem.

Her thesis explores the extensive adoption of affective computing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) especially using emotion recognition. She aims to develop machine learning-based emotion recognition of non-verbal communication to support doctor-patient interaction.
