Panel: Adoption of digital health technologies by nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic: An international collaboration

The adoption of digital technologies was accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anecdotal evidence suggests that nurses transformed their approach to patient/client care, integrating digital technology to support their work. This panel will bring together a group of international nursing informatics researchers to explore the experiences of nurses of this digital transformation. It uses data collected via an online survey with nurses from the UK, New Zealand, Australia, USA, Finland and Taiwan in 2021-2022. The panel will discuss the similarities and differences in nurses’ experiences internationally, highlighting how we can learn from the unique context provided by the COVID-19 pandemic.
