Workshop: What’s stopping us? When virtual and physical dimensions in our health world collides

HealthTech is growing at a rapid pace resulting in implications for all in healthcare from admin teams, clinicians and also the facilities themselves. So whilst we are addressing the core of our day to day, and that is to ensure we continue provide the best of healthcare where possible to patients. What is being done to ensure that healthcare stakeholders are also being kept abreast of the vast changes emerging of new healthcare models that are underpinned by technology. Even with introductions of basic telehealth in facilities – what basic changes are needed? Will we need to see a stream of lifelong learning particularly for our healthcare workers, and how can the healthcare industry foster this? Is it simply training, or are we needing to address an underlying mindset shift instead?

Learning objectives:
  • Identify the current challenges facing healthcare workers today driven by technology
  • Learn about what has been done to assist with the transition and adoptions of digital health
  • Identify your next steps of what you can do within your facility to drive transformative change
