In the healthcare sector, ICT have proven to be essential for advancements in patient care, improvement of outcomes, and reduction of costs. Moreover, the World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized the necessity to introduce ICT tools in the healthcare sector to developing countries and have placed great importance on it. However, significant investments, awareness, education, and infrastructure are needed to fully implement a framework for ICT into their healthcare sector.
