Panel: Genomic data sharing: Balancing connectivity, insight and consumer control
Your genomic data should inform a lifetime of precision healthcare. What is the path to making that happen? This panel unpacks four big challenges in managing genomic data within the healthcare system.
- The technology needed for a common ‘plumbing system’ for genomic data and reusing that data
- The challenges of data sharing across boundaries in healthcare
- The divide between clinical and research uses of data
- The sovereign right of healthcare consumers to decide when and why their data is used
- Understand what user-centric genomics means
- Determine requirements for genomic data sharing
- Identify key issues in genomic data governance
