Dr Todd Miller is currently Acting Chief Medical Officer at Healthdirect Australia, where he oversees clinical governance and consumer focussed care across national health services including the healthdirect helpline, Virtual GP, and digital platforms. He leads the implementation of AI-powered clinical systems while serving as Subject Matter Expert for Clinical Safety in Digital Health. With a background in critical care medicine, Todd holds MBBS, MPH, MBA (Health Services Management), and CHIA certification in health informatics. His work focuses on establishing safety frameworks for AI integration in clinical workflows, managing regulatory compliance across virtual care environments, and developing clinical governance maturity in digital health delivery. Todd contributes to clinical design and standards development through Sparked's Clinical Focus Group, advancing interoperability and FHIR implementation in Australian digital health systems. He is completing Juris Doctor studies, bringing regulatory and legal rigour to clinical AI implementation.
