Donald Lazure, PA, MA, MMSc, is a clinician–operator and healthcare technology leader with 20+ years of experience across cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, product strategy, and AI-enabled documentation/workflows. He currently serves as Director of Clinical Strategy at Commure, where he leverages his clinical and commercial background to scale AI-powered products and drive adoption, outcomes, and ROI. Previously, he was a Senior Principal Healthcare Consultant at Microsoft (via Nuance) and Lead Advanced Practice Provider in Thoracic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, he continues active clinical practice as a Cardiac Surgery PA in the BILH system. He holds a BA in Biology (College of the Holy Cross), an MA (Boston University School of Medicine), and an MMSc (Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program).
