Darran is a GP by trade with special interests in digital health. He is currently Medical Director at Healthdirect Australia leading the clinical governance of its GP Helpline and continues his clinical practice in the Sydney CBD.
Darran is also pursuing a PhD at the AIHI, where he is researching emerging models of primary health care service delivery. His current research focus is on direct-to-consumer telehealth services impact and interact with primary care systems.

As the Principal Growth Strategist for Oracle Health in JAPAC, Philip focuses on emerging solutions along with workflow and regulatory differences for all Oracle Health products within the Asia Pacific region. Philip works closely with a truly global team to ensure that new Oracle products will work for clients in our region while also ensuring that current products continue to meet client and regulatory expectations, both now and in the future. He also collaborates with other Oracle teams to ensure that their functionality can meet the needs for health clients. In order to keep abreast on current trends, Philip engages with current clients via various Oracle forums, Significant Interest Groups (SIGs), and events; with potential future clients as part of tender and sales demonstration processes; and industry partners with industry groups and events including the Australian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH), the Medical Software Industry Association (MSIA), HL7 Australia, and Standards Australia. Philip has lived in Australia for over 10 years and serves as Vice President of the MSIA and has been the industry representative for multiple working groups covering a variety of topics including Australian Standards, SNOMED CT AU, PBS, Cybersecurity and Cloud infrastructure, and TGA Regulation.
