2:00pm - 3:00pm PANEL | Democratising digital health: Building care pathways for priority populations via no-code infrastructure

This panel will delve into the transformative potential of no-code infrastructure within the digital health ecosystem, particularly for priority populations in remote and rural areas, or in socioeconomically disadvantaged conditions. These underserved groups often grapple with health inequities, which is a result of their geographic isolation, limited resources, and distinct healthcare needs. Conventional code-based development has historically been costly, making it inaccessible to address these specific challenges. Our speakers will reflect on the innovative ideas presented during the recent Priority Population Digital Health Challenge 2024, pointing to the potential that specialised no-code infrastructure has in improving outcomes for priority populations by enabling the development of highly targeted solutions. The proposed panel will together bring in diverse perspectives of academia, healthcare providers, software vendors, non-profit and public sectors, corporates and startups - promising to bring about a rich and interesting discussion.
